Description
Delicious and warm bites filled with tender apples, drizzled with gooey caramel, and topped with a crispy oat mixture.

- 4 Fresh Apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
- 1 cup Old-fashioned Oats
- 1 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Ground Nutmeg
- 1/2 cup Caramel Sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Core and slice the apples into small, bite-sized pieces and toss them in a bowl with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In a separate bowl, combine oats, flour, remaining brown sugar, and melted butter. Mix until crumbly.
- In a greased muffin tin, fill each cup with a scoop of the apple mixture and top with the oat crisp mixture, pressing down lightly.
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes until tops are golden brown and apples are bubbly.
- Drizzle warm caramel over the bites after cooling before removing from the tin.
Notes
Serve warm, preferably with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored at room temperature for up to 3 days.
