Description

Delightfully chewy cookies infused with the rich flavors of pure maple syrup and warm cinnamon, perfect for cozy gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened unsalted butter and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the pure maple syrup.
  4. Whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Drop rounded mounds of dough onto the prepared baking tray, leaving space between them.
  7. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until edges are light golden brown and centers remain soft.
  8. Cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a vegan option, substitute eggs with flax eggs and use coconut oil instead of butter.
