- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 8 oz cream cheese

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and mix in the sugar until smooth.
- Remove from heat, stir in the eggs one at a time, and add vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the flour and cocoa powder. Gradually stir it into the butter mixture just until combined.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into your prepared pan and spread evenly.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the sugar and then add eggs and vanilla. Mix until creamy.
- Spoon the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer in the pan, spreading it evenly.
- Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter and swirl gently with a knife for a marbled effect.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the brownie comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely in the pan before slicing.
Notes
Use room temperature ingredients for a smoother mix. Avoid overmixing the batter to prevent dense brownies.
