- 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare your baking sheets with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Cream together softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until it’s light and fluffy.
- Mix in the egg, orange juice, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Add the flour, baking soda, and salt to the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
- Fold in the cranberries and orange zest gently.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let them cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
- Drizzle with icing made from powdered sugar and orange juice for a festive touch.
