Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare your baking sheets with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Cream together softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until it’s light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the egg, orange juice, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Add the flour, baking soda, and salt to the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in the cranberries and orange zest gently.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Let them cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. Drizzle with icing made from powdered sugar and orange juice for a festive touch.
