- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup fresh cranberries, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (e.g. chives or parsley)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients by finely chopping the cranberries and walnuts. If using fresh herbs, chop those as well.
- Mix the cream cheese and honey or maple syrup in a mixing bowl until smooth and fluffy.
- Incorporate the chopped cranberries, walnuts, herbs, and garlic into the cheese mixture until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small balls, about an inch in diameter.
- Chill the cheese balls on a plate in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
- Serve the cheese balls rolled in extra walnuts or herbs with your favorite crackers or fresh veggies.
Notes
Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for easy mixing. You can freeze leftovers for up to three months.
