  2. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, pour in the vanilla extract and stir until fully combined.
  4. Whisk together the all-purpose flour and baking powder in a separate bowl. Gradually add this dry mixture to your wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in colorful sprinkles, setting aside a handful for topping.
  6. Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet using a tablespoon, leaving space between each cookie.
  7. Sprinkle the extra sprinkles generously on top of each dough mound.
