Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your baking sheet or line it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, pour in the vanilla extract and stir until fully combined.
- Whisk together the all-purpose flour and baking powder in a separate bowl. Gradually add this dry mixture to your wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in colorful sprinkles, setting aside a handful for topping.
- Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet using a tablespoon, leaving space between each cookie.
- Sprinkle the extra sprinkles generously on top of each dough mound.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden. The centers may look a bit soft.
- Allow cookies to rest on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
