  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups powdered sugar (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda in a bowl.
  3. Beat the eggs and sugar until frothy in another bowl, then add melted butter, coffee, and vanilla.
  4. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool the cake, then invert onto a towel, roll it up gently, and let it cool completely.
  8. Frost the unrolled cake with a generous layer of frosting and reroll it.
