  3. Sweeten the mix: Once boiling, reduce the heat and add in the sugar, stirring until dissolved. Mash some cranberries for a chunkier texture if desired.
  4. Simmer away: Let the jam simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until it coats the back of a spoon.
