Description
These delightful stuffed dates combine sweet Medjool dates with a creamy filling of cream cheese, chopped pecans, and tart cranberries for a perfect party appetizer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 Medjool dates
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1–2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice each date lengthwise, making sure not to cut through completely; you want to create a pocket for the stuffing.
- Combine cream cheese, chopped pecans, and dried cranberries in a mixing bowl. If using, add honey or maple syrup and mix until fully integrated.
- Stuff each date with the cream cheese mixture using a spoon or piping bag, packing them well.
- Place the stuffed dates on a baking sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes until they’re warm and slightly softened.
- Arrange the dates on a serving platter and serve warm or at room temperature.
