Description
A rich and creamy sauce made with fresh garlic and Parmesan cheese, perfect for drizzling over pasta, vegetables, or meats.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until golden.
- Slowly pour in heavy cream, stirring well to combine and scraping any bits from the pan.
- Reduce heat to low and whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately over your favorite dish or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with a mixture of Greek yogurt and milk. Pecorino Romano can be used instead of Parmesan for a sharper taste.
