Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until golden.
  2. Slowly pour in heavy cream, stirring well to combine and scraping any bits from the pan.
  3. Reduce heat to low and whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve immediately over your favorite dish or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with a mixture of Greek yogurt and milk. Pecorino Romano can be used instead of Parmesan for a sharper taste.
