Instructions
- Cook the pasta: Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve about a cup of pasta water before draining.
- Sauté the garlic and mushrooms: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, then add sliced mushrooms and cook until golden brown.
- Create the sauce: Lower the heat, stir in the yogurt, and mix well with the mushrooms and garlic. Add reserved pasta water for desired consistency.
- Combine with pasta: Toss the drained pasta in the skillet with the sauce, incorporating fresh herbs and adjusting seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Serve and enjoy: Plate the pasta and drizzle with olive oil, pairing it with salad or garlic bread.
