  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or basil), for garnish
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes, optional

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping broccoli and mincing garlic and onion.
  2. Bring salted water to a boil and cook the orzo until al dente, then drain.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic and onion until fragrant and translucent.
  4. Add the shrimp and season with salt and pepper, cooking until pink and cooked through.
  5. Remove shrimp, pour broth into the skillet, scraping up bits, and then add the heavy cream, simmering for about 5 minutes.
  6. Combine the orzo, shrimp, and broccoli into the skillet and stir to meld flavors.
