- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, chopped

- Fresh herbs (parsley or basil), for garnish
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Red pepper flakes, optional
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by chopping broccoli and mincing garlic and onion.
- Bring salted water to a boil and cook the orzo until al dente, then drain.
- In a skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic and onion until fragrant and translucent.
- Add the shrimp and season with salt and pepper, cooking until pink and cooked through.
- Remove shrimp, pour broth into the skillet, scraping up bits, and then add the heavy cream, simmering for about 5 minutes.
- Combine the orzo, shrimp, and broccoli into the skillet and stir to meld flavors.
- Adjust seasoning and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
