Instructions

  1. Boil the macaroni in salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, crumbling as it cooks. Drain excess fat and add taco seasoning; cook as per package instructions.
  3. In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium-low and stir in the cream cheese until melted. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until the sauce is smooth.
  4. Add shredded cheese to the sauce, stirring until melted and gooey. Season with salt and pepper or additional taco seasoning to taste.
  5. Mix the cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce, ensuring each piece is well coated.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with fresh cilantro, jalapeños, or diced tomatoes.
