Description
Succulent shrimp wrapped in crispy bacon and infused with black truffle oil, creating a rich and indulgent flavor experience.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 slices thick-cut bacon
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 tbsp black truffle oil
- Fresh herbs (chives or parsley), chopped
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Prep the shrimp: In a mixing bowl, combine your shrimp, minced garlic, and fresh herbs. Add a drizzle of black truffle oil and let it marinate for about 20 minutes.
- Prepare the filling: In another bowl, mix the cream cheese with a touch of black truffle oil and some chopped herbs.
- Assemble the bombs: Take each shrimp and place a small spoonful of the cream cheese mixture inside. Wrap a slice of bacon around it.
- Coat with breadcrumbs: Dredge each wrapped shrimp in panko breadcrumbs for that extra crunch.
- Cooking: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Serving: Let the bombs rest for a few minutes before serving. Drizzle with more black truffle oil or sprinkle fresh herbs.
Notes
Avoid using thin-cut bacon, as thick-cut ensures a satisfying crunch. Allow shrimp to marinate adequately for full flavor.
