  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chunks

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring they’re well incorporated.
  4. Mix in the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
  5. Fold in the rolled oats and dark chocolate chunks, mixing well.
  6. Drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spaced 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Chilling the dough for 30 minutes will help create thicker cookies.
