- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup dark chocolate chunks
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring they’re well incorporated.
- Mix in the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
- Fold in the rolled oats and dark chocolate chunks, mixing well.
- Drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spaced 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Chilling the dough for 30 minutes will help create thicker cookies.
