Description

Quick and comforting wraps filled with juicy chicken, garlic, and melty cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Boneless chicken (breast or thighs)
  • 1 cup Cheese (cheddar and mozzarella blend)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 4 Tortillas (soft flour or whole wheat)
  • 1 cup Mushrooms (cremini or button, sliced)
  • 1 medium Onion (diced)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh herbs (parsley or cilantro)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Sauté the aromatics: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and diced onions, stirring until fragrant and lightly golden—about 5 minutes.
  2. Cook the chicken: Add the chicken, seasoned with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken turns golden brown and is no longer pink inside, about 7-10 minutes. Stir in the mushrooms and let them soften.
  3. Melt the cheese: Lower the heat, sprinkle cheese over the mixture, and cover the skillet with a lid until the cheese is melted.
  4. Assemble the wraps: Warm the tortillas, spoon the cheesy chicken mixture onto each tortilla, sprinkle with herbs, and roll them up tightly.
  5. Serve: Cut the wraps in half and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For a crispy texture, toast the wraps briefly in a skillet after assembling.
