Description
Tender steak bites slowly cooked in a savory blend of garlic, herbs, and spices, perfect for busy weeknights and family gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized cubes
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup onions, sliced
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary or thyme, chopped
Instructions
- Cut your chosen steak into bite-sized cubes, ensuring they’re roughly the same size for even cooking.
- In a skillet over medium heat, drizzle a little olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant but not browned.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth.
- Place the sautéed garlic, steak bites, sliced onions, and any other vegetables into the slow cooker. Pour your sauce mix over everything.
- Sprinkle fresh herbs on top for a finishing touch.
- Set the slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooking is complete, taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
- Serve the steak bites on their own, over rice, with mashed potatoes, or as a filling for sliders.
Notes
For a lighter version, try using chicken or vegetable broth and lean cuts of meat or mushrooms for a vegetarian twist.
