- 4 English muffins, halved
- 1 cup tomato sauce (marinara or pizza sauce)
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Optional toppings: pepperoni, sautéed mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, fresh basil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut your English muffins in half and lay them out on a baking sheet, cut side up.
- Spread a generous layer of tomato sauce on each muffin half.
- Sprinkle a hearty amount of mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Place your preferred toppings evenly across each muffin.
- Pop the baking sheet into the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove the muffins from the oven and let them cool for a minute before garnishing.
Notes
Feel free to experiment with different toppings. You can use pita bread or tortillas if you’re out of English muffins.
