Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare a muffin pan by lining it with cupcake liners or greasing it.
- Mix the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, salt) in a bowl.
- Combine the wet ingredients (buttermilk, melted butter, eggs, orange zest, orange juice, vanilla extract, almond extract) in another bowl.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry and gently fold until just combined.
- Fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Frost with orange buttercream or dust with powdered sugar before serving.
