Instructions

  4. Combine the wet ingredients (buttermilk, melted butter, eggs, orange zest, orange juice, vanilla extract, almond extract) in another bowl.
  5. Pour the wet mixture into the dry and gently fold until just combined.
  6. Fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  9. Frost with orange buttercream or dust with powdered sugar before serving.
