Description
A fluffy, olive-oil-drizzled bread that’s perfect for sharing with family and friends.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups gluten-free flour blend
- 1 packet yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- Fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Activate the yeast: In a small bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it’s nice and bubbly.
- Mix the dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together your gluten-free flour blend and salt.
- Combine: Slowly add the activated yeast mixture and olive oil into the dry mix. Stir until it forms a sticky dough.
- Let it rise: Cover the bowl and let the dough rest in a warm spot for about an hour.
- Shape the focaccia: On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spread the dough out gently, creating dimples on the surface.
- Top with goodness: Drizzle with more olive oil, sprinkle with salt, and top with herbs and garlic.
- Bake: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Enjoy: Once it cools slightly, slice and serve.
Notes
Be patient during the rising stage for best results. Serve warm for optimal flavor.
