Description

Delicious marinated chicken using Greek yogurt for a tender and flavorful meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 4 minced garlic cloves
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Dried herbs (thyme or oregano)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Boneless chicken breasts or thighs

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, dried herbs, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour (overnight is best).
  3. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. If grilling, place marinated chicken on the grill for 6-8 minutes per side. If using a skillet, sear in the pan for 5-7 minutes on each side.
  5. Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  6. Serve with sides of choice, such as grains or fresh salad.

Notes

Let the chicken marinate longer for deeper flavor. Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking.
