Description

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar until combined.
  3. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Sift together the cocoa powder, flour, and salt in a separate bowl and incorporate it into the wet ingredients gently.
  5. Pour the batter into your prepared pan, spreading it evenly and adding any optional toppings.
  6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Let cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack and cutting into squares.
