Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Wash mushrooms and slice them evenly. Zest the lemons and juice them, removing any seeds. Mince garlic and chop herbs.
  2. Cook the Mushrooms: Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add Garlic and Herbs: Stir in minced garlic and herbs. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, being careful not to burn the garlic.
  4. Incorporate Lemons: Pour in lemon juice and zest. Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Final Touches: Simmer for another minute to lightly caramelize the lemon zest and infuse the flavors.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Transfer to a serving platter, garnish with extra herbs, and enjoy the uplifting flavors.
