Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Fruit Juice or Puree (fresh strawberries, peaches, etc.)

  • 1 package (1 oz) Unflavored Gelatin

  3. Dissolve the gelatin in a separate bowl with cold water; allow to bloom for about 5 minutes.
  4. Cook the juice mixture over medium heat, stirring continuously until it comes to a gentle boil, then remove from heat.
  5. Add the citric acid quickly, then pour the mixture into your prepared molds.
  6. Set the molds at room temperature for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  7. Unmold the candies and roll them in granulated sugar for added sweetness.

Notes

Avoid using fruit juices with added sugar for the best flavor. Experiment with different fruit flavors and herbs for unique variations.
