Instructions

  2. Melt the butter: In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter completely.
  3. Add the marshmallows: Once the butter is melted, stir in the marshmallows until they are completely melted and smooth.
  4. Mix in the vanilla: Stir in the vanilla extract once the marshmallows are melted.
  5. Incorporate the Rice Krispies: Remove the pot from heat and fold in the Rice Krispies with a spatula.
  6. Press into a pan: Use a buttered spatula to press the mixture evenly into a greased 9×13-inch pan.
  7. Cool and cut: Allow the treats to cool completely before cutting into squares.
