Description
A delightful dish of stuffed shrimps filled with savory garlic mushrooms, fresh herbs, and cream cheese, perfect for family gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup button or cremini mushrooms, chopped
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh herbs (parsley, dill, or chives), chopped
- 1/2 cup plain or seasoned bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Melt a tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
- Add chopped mushrooms and cook until they soften and release their moisture, about five minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Remove the skillet from heat and let cool slightly. In a mixing bowl, combine the mushroom mixture, cream cheese, fresh herbs, and bread crumbs. Mix until well incorporated.
- Stuff each shrimp with a generous amount of the mushroom mixture, gently pressing it in. Place the filled shrimp in the prepared baking dish and drizzle with additional melted butter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through.
- Serve warm with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
Be careful not to overstuff the shrimps to ensure even cooking. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
