Description
A delightful twist on traditional focaccia, these garlic rosemary muffins are soft, buttery, and perfect for any meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix warm water and yeast, letting it sit for about 10 minutes until foamy.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk the flour and salt together, creating a well in the center.
- Add the yeast mixture and olive oil into the well. Stir gently until the mixture starts to form a dough.
- Fold in the minced garlic and chopped rosemary, ensuring they’re evenly distributed.
- On a floured surface, knead the dough for about 5 to 7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place your dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm spot for about 60 minutes or until it doubles in size.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
- After the dough has risen, punch it down, divide it into portions, and shape them into balls. Place each ball into the muffin tin.
- Cover the muffins and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove the muffins and let them cool for a few minutes before enjoying.
