A festive and spicy cranberry jalapeño dip that brings family together over delicious flavors.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 2–3 jalapeños, diced (seeds removed for milder flavor)
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 onion, diced (yellow or red)
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- Olive oil for sautéing
- Salt to taste
- Optional: sugar or honey to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients: Rinse cranberries and remove stems. Wash and dice jalapeños.
- Cook the base: In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté onions until translucent, about 4-5 minutes. Add garlic and jalapeños, cooking for 2 more minutes.
- Add cranberries: Toss them in the skillet and cook until they begin to burst, about 10 minutes. Add sugar or honey for sweetness if desired.
- Combine the creaminess: Lower heat and mix in cream cheese and sour cream, stirring until smooth.
- Season and finish: Remove from heat, add lime juice and cilantro, and adjust the seasoning.
- Cool and serve: Let cool before serving to allow flavors to meld.
Notes
Serve with tortilla chips, veggie sticks, or baguette slices. The dip is best when allowed to chill in the fridge before serving.
