Ingredients

- 8 oz Dark Chocolate (85% cocoa or higher)
- 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
- 1/4 cup Sweetener (like erythritol or stevia)
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Toppings (cocoa powder, crushed nuts, or shredded coconut)
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave-safe bowl, stirring frequently.
- Combine the heavy cream and sweetener in a separate bowl and whisk until well combined.
- Mix the cream mixture into the melted chocolate, stirring until smooth.
- Add the vanilla extract and any other desired flavorings.
- Chill the mixture at room temperature for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Form small balls with the chilled mixture, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Coat the truffles in your desired toppings.
- Chill the coated truffles until firm.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
For a mocha twist, add a dash of espresso powder to the mixture. Store leftover truffles in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
