- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- A pinch of salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup mixed nuts
- 1 cup dried fruit (such as cranberries)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until fluffy and smooth.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, mixed nuts, and dried fruit.
- Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers still appear soft. Let cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
