Description

Grilled chicken marinated with zesty lemon and aromatic garlic for a flavor-packed dish that’s perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken: In a bowl, combine lemon juice, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Add chicken, coat well, cover, and refrigerate for at least 60 minutes or overnight.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Grill the chicken: Remove chicken from marinade, let excess liquid drip off, and grill for 6-7 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  4. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing to retain juiciness.
  5. Serve warm with sides like tabbouleh, hummus, or a Mediterranean salad.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate overnight. Use a meat thermometer to check doneness.
