- 8 Mozzarella Sticks
- 8 strips Thick-Cut Bacon
- 1/2 cup Nashville Hot Chicken Seasoning
- 1/4 cup Almond Flour
- 1 Egg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare your mozzarella sticks by laying them out on a clean surface.
- Wrap each mozzarella stick with a strip of bacon, securing the ends with toothpicks if necessary.
- Prepare the coating by whisking an egg in a shallow bowl and mixing the almond flour with Nashville hot seasoning in another bowl.
- Coat each bacon-wrapped mozzarella stick in the egg mixture, then in the almond flour mix for an even layer.
- Arrange the coated sticks on the lined baking sheet. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and golden.
- Cool for a minute before serving to avoid cheese spillage.
Notes
For extra crispiness, consider air frying at 375°F for about 12-15 minutes.
