Ingredients
Scale
- 1 boneless turkey breast
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
- 1/4 cup butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, add minced garlic until fragrant, then stir in maple syrup, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper. Bring to a gentle simmer and remove from heat.
- Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan and brush generously with the maple glaze.
- Roast the turkey for around 1 to 1.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C), basting every 30 minutes with leftover glaze.
- Let the turkey rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with remaining glaze and your favorite sides.
Notes
Ensure to let the turkey sit at room temperature before cooking for even roasting. Basting during cooking enhances flavor and texture. Allowing the turkey to rest is crucial for juicy meat.
