Description
Delicious and rich no-bake chocolate balls infused with dates, nuts, and aromatic spices, reminiscent of a cozy café in Dubai.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup Medjool dates, pitted
- 1 cup nuts (walnuts, almonds, or pecans)
- 1 cup high-quality dark chocolate, melted
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder (for dusting)
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom or cinnamon
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients: Start by pitting your dates if they aren’t already. Soak them in warm water for about 10 minutes to soften if they are dry.
- Blend the Base: In a food processor, combine the dates and nuts. Pulse until they form a sticky mixture.
- Add the Chocolate: Melt your chocolate in a microwave or over a double boiler. Stir it into the date-nut mixture until well combined.
- Scoop and Roll: Using a small cookie scoop or your hands, shape the mixture into balls.
- Coat Them: Roll each ball in cocoa powder, shredded coconut, or crushed nuts.
- Chill: Place your chocolate balls on a lined tray and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to firm up.
- Serve: Once firm, they’re ready to enjoy!
