Description

A delightful combination of rich cheesecake and dreamy Nutella, these bars bring joy and sweet memories to any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1 ½ cups crushed graham crackers
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar for crust
  • Optional: chopped hazelnuts or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9-inch square baking dish.
  2. Mix together crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and ¼ cup of sugar for the crust, then press it into the baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Beat cream cheese in a large mixing bowl until smooth. Gradually add in the sugar and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the Nutella until fully combined.
  6. Pour the mixture over the cooled crust and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are set but the center is slightly jiggly.
  8. Cool at room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before slicing.

Notes

For a lighter version, use low-fat cream cheese and alternative sweeteners. Surplus bars freeze well for future indulgence.
