Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package Puff Pastry (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup Nutella
- 1 Egg (beaten, for egg wash)
- Powdered Sugar (for dusting)
- Sea Salt (for sprinkling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

- Place a generous teaspoon of Nutella in the center of each heart. Optionally, add slices of strawberries or bananas.
- Seal the heart by folding it in half and pressing the edges together. Use a fork to crimp the edges for decoration.
- Brush the tops with the egg wash for a golden finish.
- Bake on a lined baking sheet for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
- Dust with powdered sugar and sprinkle with sea salt before serving.
Notes
For a crispy texture, consider using a perforated baking sheet. Avoid overfilling to prevent bursting during baking.
