- 1 package Oreo cookies (regular or family-sized)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- Festive sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Crush the Oreos either in a food processor or by hand until finely crushed.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until well blended.
- Cover the mixture and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Roll tablespoon-sized portions into smooth balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring in 30-second intervals.
- Dip each Oreo ball in the melted white chocolate and let excess chocolate drip off.
- Sprinkle with festive decorations if desired, before the chocolate hardens.
- Chill until the chocolate is set completely.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
For a richer flavor, try using dark or milk chocolate instead of white chocolate. These truffles also freeze well for up to three months.
