- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
- 4 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Rosemary, chopped
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Thyme, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Sage, chopped
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 cup Chicken or Vegetable Broth
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the turkey by removing it from its packaging and patting it dry.
- Season generously with salt and pepper.
- Create a herb-infused butter by mixing softened butter with minced garlic and chopped herbs.
- Baste the turkey by lifting the skin and spreading the buttery mixture onto the meat.
- Roast the turkey in a roasting pan, loosely covered with foil, for 1.5 to 2 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Baste every 30 minutes with pan juices.
- Rest the turkey for 15 to 20 minutes before slicing.
