Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 fresh salmon fillets, skin-on
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 4 pats of unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill or parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Asparagus, zucchini, or bell peppers

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lay out a large piece of parchment paper on a baking sheet.
  3. Place the salmon fillet in the center of the parchment and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Lay the citrus slices over the salmon.
  5. Add pats of butter and sprinkle with herbs and minced garlic.
  6. If using, place optional vegetables around the salmon.
  7. Fold the parchment over the salmon and crimp the edges to seal.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  9. Remove from the oven and let rest for a couple of minutes before opening.
  10. Serve immediately, garnished with extra herbs or citrus if desired.

Notes

Ensure the parchment is well sealed to keep steam in while cooking. You can also marinate the salmon for extra flavor.
