  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed

  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce
  • Flaky sea salt, for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
  3. Combine both granulated sugar and brown sugar into the melted butter until blended.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each inclusion.
  5. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  6. Incorporate the flour and salt until just combined.
  7. Prepare the brownie batter by swirling in about half of the salted caramel sauce.
  8. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Drizzle the remaining salted caramel sauce on top and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
  10. Cool completely before slicing into squares.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute unsalted butter with coconut oil. Let the brownies sit a few hours for enhanced flavor.
