- 1¼ cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

- 1 cup salted caramel sauce
- Flaky sea salt, for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
- Combine both granulated sugar and brown sugar into the melted butter until blended.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each inclusion.
- Mix in the vanilla extract.
- Incorporate the flour and salt until just combined.
- Prepare the brownie batter by swirling in about half of the salted caramel sauce.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Drizzle the remaining salted caramel sauce on top and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
- Cool completely before slicing into squares.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, substitute unsalted butter with coconut oil. Let the brownies sit a few hours for enhanced flavor.
