Ingredients

- 4 cups pretzels (regular or chocolate-covered)
- 1 cup dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup sugar
- ¼ cup water
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup heavy cream
- Flaked sea salt, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spread the pretzels evenly on the baking sheet.
- Combine sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat, swirling until sugar dissolves. Boil until amber.
- Stir in butter and heavy cream until smooth, then pour over pretzels.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and allow them to melt.
- Spread melted chocolate evenly over the mixture.
- Sprinkle with flaked sea salt.
- Chill for about an hour until set, then break into pieces.
Notes
Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor. Make sure not to overcook caramel.
