Ingredients

  • 4 cups pretzels (regular or chocolate-covered)
  • 1 cup dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Flaked sea salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread the pretzels evenly on the baking sheet.
  3. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat, swirling until sugar dissolves. Boil until amber.
  4. Stir in butter and heavy cream until smooth, then pour over pretzels.
  5. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and allow them to melt.
  6. Spread melted chocolate evenly over the mixture.
  7. Sprinkle with flaked sea salt.
  8. Chill for about an hour until set, then break into pieces.
