  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil or vegan butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep the bread by cutting it into cubes and letting them dry overnight, or toast in the oven for about 10 minutes.
  2. Sauté the onions and celery in olive oil over medium heat until translucent, about 5 minutes. Stir in garlic and mushrooms, cooking until mushrooms are tender.
  3. Add the herbs, salt, and pepper, allowing the aroma to fill your kitchen.
  4. Combine the sautéed mixture with the bread cubes in a large bowl. Gradually add vegetable broth, mixing gently until the bread is moist but not soggy.
