Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, and mix in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl, gradually mixing into the wet ingredients.
- Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Scoop the dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For chewier cookies, chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. You can sprinkle sea salt on top before baking for an extra flavor boost.
