Instructions

- Cream together the butter and 1/2 cup of powdered sugar until fluffy.
- Add the vanilla extract to the mixture.
- Combine the all-purpose flour, chopped nuts, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Blend the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until a dough forms; add milk if too dry.
- Shape the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 12-15 minutes, until edges are slightly golden.
- Dust the warm cookies in powdered sugar after cooling them slightly.
- Cool on a wire rack until completely cool.
