Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente, reserving half a cup of pasta cooking water before draining.
  2. Sauté the mushrooms in olive oil over medium-high heat until golden and caramelized.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Sprinkle in red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to taste.
  5. Combine the sautéed mushrooms and spices with the cooked spaghetti, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
