Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and spices.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- Blend in the molasses and vanilla.
- Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool in pan before frosting.
- For frosting, beat cream cheese, heavy cream, and confectioners’ sugar until smooth.
- Spread frosting on cooled brownies, slice, and serve.
