Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients: Rinse the cranberries and check for spoiled ones.
- Combine in a pot: In a large pot, add cranberries, sugar, water, and any spices or citrus zest.
- Cook gently: Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves and cranberries start popping (about 10 minutes).
- Simmer: Lower the heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened.
- Jar it up: Pour hot jam into sterilized jars, leaving headspace at the top and seal them tightly.
- Cool and store: Let jars cool to room temperature before storing in the fridge.
Notes
