- 1/4 cup sugar

- 1 egg, for egg wash
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the dough: Roll out store-bought pastry to about 1/8-inch thick or use homemade dough.
- Make the filling: In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sugar, citrus zest, and chopped herbs. Mix until smooth.
- Add cranberries: Fold in cranberries gently until well-distributed.
- Assemble the pinwheels: Spread filling evenly over pastry and roll tightly from the long side.
- Chill the roll: Wrap in plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- Slice: Cut into 1/2 inch thick rounds and place them cut side up on the baking sheet.
- Brush with egg wash for a golden finish.
- Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving warm to your guests.
