- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

- 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour

- ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla and almond extracts.
- Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl, then gradually add to the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Spread the batter in the prepared pan, decorating with sprinkles if desired. Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are golden.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then lift out and cut into squares once completely cooled.
