  • 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen cherries, pitted and chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the unsalted butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla and almond extract.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then gradually add to the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in the chopped cherries until evenly distributed.
  6. Scoop dough onto baking sheets, leaving space in between each dollop. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
  7. Cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
